Pray for Open Doors

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains" (Colossians 4:2-3, NIV).

Open doors can't be taken for granted. Many missionaries work in countries that are difficult to access or in areas that are resistant to the gospel. But "open doors" include more than just access to nations and people groups. Individuals' hearts also need to be open and receptive to God's truth.

• Pray that God will open new doors of ministry, blessing partnerships and friendships.
• Pray that those who serve will be led by the Holy Spirit and recognize open-door opportunities.
• Pray that God will lead His people past barriers to hearts ready to receive His Word.

God's Wisdom and Anointing

Please pray for Dennis Murphy as he seeks God's will and anointing for a possible church start that would be integrated with The Isaiah Connection.

He has a vision for starting a system of house churches that would unite Christians with a passion for service to God through missions ministry. The name of the church would be Isaiah's Call.  He needs pray as he approaches two churches in Missouri about being partners.

• Please pray for Dennis as he balances the demands of being the Isaiah Connection's Director of Field Operations.  He feels that God has called him to work alongside of Joe to help further the vision of the Isaiah Connection throughout the world.
• Pray for Joe and Dennis as they continue to work out the details of this relationship.
• Pray for Dennis as he continues the crucial job of raising support funds to make this position possible.
• Pray for Dennis as he starts a new job as a Community Coordinator for the Jefferson County Community Partnership.
