Thursday, June 3: Oh how God can knock our socks off. Today we were in the village of Rija. When we arrived there were over 100 people waiting for the clinic. We were down to one doctor today and one nurse, but that doesn't stop our LORD from doing mighty miracles before our very eyes. Today was the first time since I have been coming to Nigeria that were were able to treat 100% of the names collected on the roster who wanted to see us. What did this mean? It meant that 430 individuals today were treated. In addition, God allowed us to see 30 people give their life to Christ and 264 to be prayed over. One woman asked our team to lay hands on her because of the persecution she was receiving at home due to her coming from a Muslim family. Not only did we pray for her, but we encouraged her, gave here a Housa bible, and set her up with local female who could disciple her. Wow.... what a GOD and what a day.
